You can also travel from Sète to Mèze by bus. The Sète Agglopôle Mobilité network serves towns around the Étang de Thau and allows you to reach Mèze without a car. Since the network was reorganised in January 2026, route 20 connects Mèze with the Balaruc-le-Vieux shopping centre, where you can change to the A Express service towards Sète.
If you arrive by train at Sète railway station, take the A Express bus towards Balaruc-le-Vieux, then change to route 20 at the “Centre Commercial” stop. In Mèze, the “La Marianne” stop provides easy access on foot to the town centre and the port. This is a practical option for travellers who want to visit Mèze without hiring a car.
